Even with everything going on currently fighting police brutality, we felt it still important to continue this effort to help local families.

We understand that the same devaluing of Black life that perpetuates or contributes to police brutality also trickles into policies about who deserves to eat in school. So, we’re fundraising via The Care Project, to help #EraseTheDebt.

All of the money we raise will go directly towards paying down school meal debt in Hampton. I know things are tough right now, and I’m not assuming you can, but if you have anything to spare, could you please donate? Any amount will help tremendously especially since the families this money will go to were already facing financial struggles before this pandemic.
