Today is our Birthday!! On September 1, 2016, I got an amazing group of people together and started the work of VA BLOC. Our efforts in “building empowered communities” have grown over the years thanks to the hard work of the team and our interns and thanks to your involvement! We are dedicated to increasing voter engagement, civic involvement, and leadership development because this is our way to play a part in making our community even stronger!

A special shout out to Cameron, Semora, and Brittni who keep me young, keep us focused on the heart work, and make this work fun! You all are black excellence and I’m so thankful you chose VA BLOC to help make your mark! ❤️ I’m so proud of you!
