Cameron and Melissa would like to thank all of those who attended our brainstorming meeting for the Virginia Board of Education. Thanks to your great ideas and comments Melissa was able to present a very thoughtful statement to the board at the hearing last week. We are confident that they will take these comments, and all others, into consideration, and hopefully, action. We would also like to recognize Education Advocate, LaKyta Williamson Greene for attending the hearing and addressing the board with her important comments regarding mindfulness, therapeutic day treatment, suspension alternatives, and more.
