Join VA BLOC, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated – Lambda Omega Chapter, and Ivy Baptist Church as we continue our Summer Series of Virtual Town Halls. Session 1 was on Voting Rights and Session 2 was on Police Reform. Session 3 will be held on June 29th at 6:30pm and we will discuss Economic Justice. Our panelists and team will dive into what is in the American Rescue Plan, how it impacts you, and ways that policy can help families recover financially from the pandemic. We’ll hear from The Commonwealth Institute for Fiscal Analysis and the Hampton Roads Community Action Program! And we’ll talk about how to advocate for the Peninsula as decisions are being made on funding at the state and local levels!
