We’re helping advocates and leaders! Last week, we had the opportunity to participate in presentations to help grow advocates and leaders. On Wednesday, we presented at the Advocacy Workshop at Bethel High School. We spoke to highlight ways we are helping citizens make sure their voice is heard and on ways to advocate for positive changes in state level policy. We know it starts with a vote. But we have to stay engaged to continue to give our input.
Then on Friday, we helped with a presentation at the Warwick High School Character Counts program to talk about Trustworthiness and how important the trait is in our work as community organizers.
If you have questions from the Advocacy Workshop or want to get involved in legislative advocacy during the General Assembly Session in January, come to our training on January 8th!
